thank you Emmel for ur comments.usually I start may exam little
oriented by symtomes and thenafter I do always a complete exam using
all windows.for type A dissection: in TTE, parasternal long and short
axis are very useful (including visualisation of the descending aorta
which we can see behind LA).suprasternal window is very important also
for dissection and the gold standard for coarctation ;in stable
patients I do TEE ,if we had pericardial effusion or aortic
regurgitation... and hemodynamic intolerance,we do CT scan and I do my
TEE in the operating room (patient on the table!)just before surgery.

Once more a very exciting combination of congenital heart
Thanks a lot for sharing that vid! I have to admit
that I have never seen such a combination of cardiac abnormalities
