Description
about 80 y old patient. In medical history, the patient had a metastasizing carcinoma; concition after surgery and chemotherapy. Now the patient was admitted to our ICU with fever and a new heart murmur. In TEE we could found a huge endocarditic vegetation on the tricuspid valve, probably caused by an infected hickman-catheter.
