parasternal long axis view with color doppler recording shows lv aneurysm of the posterolateral wall with wide neck in a case of ischemic heart failure.in addition there is a significant ischemic mitral regurgitation with tenting and assymetric tetehering of the chordae of the mitral leaflets and posteriorly directed regurgitant jet.
