Description
In this zoom view of the aortic and mitral valves in the transthoracic parasternal long axis clip, you can see the bright spots at the base of the aortic valve which are indicative of a bioprosthesis. The short axis clips in this patient were not helpful in evaluating the valve\s function. His mean gradient was 15, suggesting normal flow through this prosthetic valve.
