Description
In this apical TTE clip, the posterior mitral leaflet can be seen prolapsing into the left atrium and completely failing to coapt with the anterior leaflet. Furthermore, there appears to be a ruptured chordae and part of the leaflet is flail. In another clip we will see that this results in severe mitral regurgitation.
