Description
This apical TTE clip without doppler shows the enlargement of the left ventricle (due to AI) and the left atrium (due to MR) in a patient with longstanding valvular disease. Notice the bulging of the atrial septum to the right consistent with significant increase in left atrial pressure. Also note the profound prolapse of the posterior leaflet of the mitral valve.
